About the role
The Healthcare Assistant will support the pharmacy’s patients by providing essential personal care and monitoring basic health indicators. Working closely with nurses and medical staff, you will help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients in Lagos. The role is full‑time and based at Venk Medix Pharmacy in the Marina district of Lagos, offering the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Personal care: assist patients with washing, dressing, toileting and meals.
- Vital checks: measure temperature, pulse, breathing rate and weight.
- Patient support: help patients move safely, including getting out of bed.
- Environment control: make beds, clean rooms and keep medical areas tidy.
- Communication: listen to patients and promptly report any health changes to nursing staff.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- 1‑2 years of experience in a similar healthcare assistant role.
