Head of Sales Marketing

About the role

Talkaholic Unlimited is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales Marketing to lead revenue‑driving initiatives for its entertainment and event marketing portfolio. Based on‑site in Port Harcourt, you will shape sales and marketing strategy, expand the client base, and enhance brand visibility across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and marketing campaigns for entertainment and high‑profile events.
• Lead, mentor and motivate cross‑functional sales and marketing teams, setting performance targets and monitoring key metrics.
• Manage key client accounts, identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts.
• Analyse market trends and campaign performance to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with creative teams on campaign concepts and ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and networking functions.
• Prepare regular sales and marketing reports, optimise processes and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven sales and sales‑management expertise, including pipeline development, negotiation, closing and revenue forecasting.
• Strong account‑management experience with a track record of building and growing client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical mindset to interpret market data and sales metrics.
• Relevant experience in entertainment, event marketing or related industries is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
