Head of Sales

About the role

The Head of Sales is a full‑time, on‑site position in Lagos, responsible for leading ORC Capital Limited’s sales function and driving revenue growth. You will develop and execute sales strategies, set performance targets and manage the sales pipeline to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals.
• Set performance targets and monitor progress to achieve revenue objectives.
• Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow‑up.
• Oversee account management activities and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Identify new business opportunities within the investment management sector.
• Guide, mentor and coach the sales team to enhance performance.
• Coordinate with product and marketing teams to align offerings and campaigns.
• Prepare regular sales reports for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven sales and sales‑management track record in financial services or related industries.
• Strong account‑management experience with long‑term client relationship building.
• Advanced analytical ability to interpret market data and client portfolios.
• Demonstrated team‑management skills, including coaching and performance management.
• Experience in investment or asset management with solid understanding of investment products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, MBA) is a plus.
• High integrity, professionalism and commitment to client‑focused service and regulatory compliance.
