Head of Sales

About the role

Rekrut Consulting is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead its commercial operations in Lagos. The role will shape sales strategy, drive revenue growth and build a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Define target markets, design go‑to‑market strategies, and set sales quotas aligned with revenue goals.
• Recruit, train, and mentor sales managers, account executives, and representatives.
• Monitor deal progression, analyse CRM data, and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
• Build scalable frameworks, standardise sales methodologies, and integrate efficient sales technologies.
• Lead high‑level negotiations and build strategic relationships with top‑tier clients and partners.
• Partner with marketing, product, and finance teams to optimise pricing, lead generation, and overall business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 5–7 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven track record selling premium, luxury or high‑value products and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent strategic planning, analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to train, motivate and develop a high‑performing sales team.
