Head of Marketing

About the role

The Head of Marketing will lead Spiro’s marketing and brand strategy for the Nigerian market, driving awareness, adoption and commercial growth of its electric mobility portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy aligned with business, revenue and market expansion objectives.
• Build and strengthen Spiro’s brand positioning and messaging for the Nigerian electric mobility market.
• Lead product marketing for two‑ and three‑wheelers, including positioning, launches and lifecycle campaigns.
• Design market‑specific go‑to‑market and channel activation plans, partnering with dealers and distributors.
• Drive digital marketing across social media, performance, content, search and CRM to generate leads and conversions.
• Manage events, auto shows, road‑shows and test‑ride programmes to boost awareness and adoption.
• Gather market intelligence and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Oversee marketing budget, agency relationships and cross‑functional collaboration with sales, product and finance.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of overall marketing experience, with 3–5 years hands‑on in African markets.
• Strong background in automotive/mobility, preferably two‑wheelers, three‑wheelers or EV OEMs.
• Proven experience in brand management, product launches and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Deep understanding of African consumer markets, dealer/channel ecosystems and digital performance marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a marketing team and manage multi‑city programmes.
