About the role
Moniepoint is establishing three university‑based Innovation Hubs in Nigeria and seeks a senior leader to design, launch and operate them. The role will define the programme model, build university relationships and create a pipeline of job‑ready technical talent.
Key responsibilities
- Design the operating model for all three hubs, including cohort structure, learning sequencing, assessment and certification standards.
- Own and nurture relationships with Vice‑Chancellors, deans, faculty leads and student bodies at OAU, UNN and ABU.
- Develop cross‑faculty engagement strategies to attract students from engineering, sciences, humanities, business and design.
- Build and manage a mentorship network of engineers, product leaders and founders to assess and hire graduates.
- Recruit, train and oversee facilitators, ensuring a single high‑quality standard across sites.
- Lead physical infrastructure build‑out or adaptation, manage vendors, timelines and hub‑level budgets.
- Define staffing models, hire on‑ground teams and set performance metrics such as graduate output, placement rates and employer satisfaction.
- Integrate hub graduates with Moniepoint Academy and other internal talent pathways.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership of programmes, teams and budgets.
- Proven track record building technical training or workforce development programmes at scale, preferably across multiple sites.
- Experience managing senior‑level institutional relationships with universities or government bodies.
- Ability to recruit and manage technical educators and maintain rigorous teaching standards.
- Deep understanding of engineering, AI, product and data‑science education and employer expectations.
- Outcome‑focused mindset with a history of delivering measurable results.
- Experience in edtech, university‑industry partnerships or workforce development is a strong plus.
