Head Chef

About the role

The Head Chef will lead all culinary operations at Rally House Pickleball and Social Club, delivering high‑quality, health‑focused cuisine that complements the club’s sport‑and‑wellness atmosphere. This full‑time hybrid position is based in Lagos, with on‑site kitchen management and remote work for menu planning and supplier coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and execute menus that reflect the club’s lifestyle and wellness focus.
• Supervise, train and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring consistent food quality and presentation.
• Manage inventory, supplier relationships and cost control to optimise resources.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with club management to create culinary experiences for sporting events and social activities.
• Collect and act on member feedback to continuously improve the dining offering.

Required profile

• Proven culinary expertise with experience in menu development and contemporary cuisine.
• Demonstrated kitchen management experience, including team leadership and performance supervision.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations and clean‑kitchen practices.
• Ability to manage inventory, negotiate with suppliers and control costs.
• Experience in hospitality or private club environments serving members and event‑based dining.
• Culinary certification or formal training is preferred.
