Gym Coach

About the role

The Gym Coach will lead daily fitness sessions at our Marina location in Port Harcourt, ensuring members receive safe and effective workouts. This part‑time role runs Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 10:00 am, and is ideal for energetic individuals passionate about health and wellness. You will be responsible for creating a motivating environment, maintaining equipment, and promoting a culture of fitness among guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise gym floor activities and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and provide ongoing coaching.
• Monitor member progress and adjust training plans accordingly.
• Prepare and update individualized workout programs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym area.
• Track attendance and record session outcomes.

Required profile

• Ability to effectively coach clients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical fitness and a passion for health and exercise.
• Availability to work the specified morning shift (Monday‑Friday, 6:30 am‑10:00 am).
