Graphic Designer & Video Editor Intern (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

This project‑based internship is designed for a current student or recent graduate looking to build a portfolio in digital content and social media. Working remotely, the intern will support the university’s online presence through graphic design, short‑form video editing, and content scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish 10 social media graphics or posts per month, including flyers, quote cards, announcements, and brochures.
• Produce 4 short‑form videos (1–5 minutes) each month using supplied footage, photos, and editing tools.
• Maintain and schedule a content calendar across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and groups.
• Engage lightly with the community by responding to comments and direct messages a few times per week.
• Prepare a basic monthly performance summary with reach, likes, follower growth, and screenshots.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled student or recent graduate in Media, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing or related field, or a strong portfolio in lieu of formal study.
• Own reliable laptop/smartphone and stable internet connection; third‑party devices are not permitted.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and be responsive within agreed availability windows.

Required skills

• Graphic design tools: Canva (or similar).
• Video editing tools: CapCut, InShot, or comparable apps.
• Social‑media scheduling: Meta Business Suite.
• Collaboration platforms: WhatsApp, Google Drive.
