Graduate Trainee – Finance & Treasury (12‑Month Rotational Program)

About the role

This 12‑month Graduate Trainee programme offers recent graduates a hands‑on introduction to finance, accounting and treasury functions within a fast‑growing fintech environment. You will rotate across key areas, receive mentorship and gain exposure to real‑world financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily reconciliation of operational, settlement and wallet accounts under supervision.
• Assist in monitoring liquidity, cash positions and preparing cash‑flow reports.
• Learn and support treasury operations including fund transfers, payment processing and settlements.
• Investigate reconciliation discrepancies and document findings.
• Help prepare periodic treasury, liquidity and reconciliation reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and general‑ledger entries.
• Support month‑end and half‑year closing activities as directed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Undertake rotational assignments and other duties as part of the training programme.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience; NYSC corps members and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High learning agility, integrity and willingness to work in a structured, fast‑paced environment.
• Professional certification in progress (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
