Graduate Assistant – MSc Communications for Social & Behavioral Change

About the role

The American Graduate Assistant Program at the American University of Nigeria offers U.S. citizens an opportunity to work on campus while pursuing a Master of Science in Communications for Social and Behavioral Change. Participants will live on‑site, receive a monthly stipend and full tuition coverage, and contribute to community‑service initiatives across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Sustainability and other senior staff in planning and executing campus‑wide service projects.
• Support student‑focused activities coordinated by the President, Dean of Students, Director of Campus Activities, and Director of Community Service.
• Work up to 29 hours per week, providing administrative and operational support for program activities.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen holding a valid American passport.
• Eligible for admission to the MSc Communications for Social and Behavioral Change program (36‑credit, two‑year curriculum).
• Early‑career professional seeking hands‑on experience in university‑level community service.
