About the role
We are looking for a Graduate Accounting Officer to join our finance team in Ikoyi, Lagos. The role supports the preparation, examination and analysis of accounting records while ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Appraise, evaluate and maintain an asset register for company assets.
- Record, reconcile and post petty cash and fuel imprest transactions.
- Reconcile payments and receipts, confirm customer deposits and issue receipts.
- Manage all accounting transactions, including payroll administration and income‑expenditure control.
- Audit financial information and compile reports, budgets, business plans and financial statements.
Required profile
- HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
