Global Trade, Supply Chain & Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Global Trade, Supply Chain & Logistics Supervisor will lead end‑to‑end international logistics operations, ensuring goods move efficiently across borders while staying fully compliant with trade regulations. This remote position supports cost‑effective, timely, and compliant global trade activities for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, sanctions, and export/import controls.
• Oversee preparation, accuracy, and submission of trade documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/AWB, certificates of origin, HS codes, and letters of credit.
• Coordinate customs clearance with brokers and authorities in multiple jurisdictions.
• Supervise international freight movements (sea, air, road, rail) and monitor shipment schedules, lead times, and delivery performance.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, warehouses, and carriers, negotiating service levels and rates.
• Monitor freight, customs, and logistics costs against budgets and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Lead a team of logistics coordinators and trade officers, allocating workloads and providing guidance on SOPs.
• Liaise with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Quality Control, and Legal to support contract execution and Incoterms interpretation.
• Prepare regular operational, compliance, and cost reports and drive process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
