General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead the strategic direction and day‑to‑day operations of Meno Nigeria’s broadcasting portfolio, including radio stations and an emerging television operation. Reporting to the Board, the role is responsible for driving growth, innovation, and profitability across all media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s strategic vision, translating Board directives into measurable operational and financial results.
• Lead the expansion from radio into television and digital media, positioning the organisation as a leading multimedia platform in South‑East Nigeria.
• Design and implement revenue‑generation strategies across radio, TV, digital, events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
• Oversee daily operations of Boss Radio, BizziBodi FM, and the new TV service, coordinating programming, news, engineering, marketing, sales, finance, digital, and administration.
• Set performance targets, monitor operational KPIs, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Mentor and develop management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
• Enhance programming quality and audience engagement, championing digital‑first content.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 48 months (4 years) of experience in media management, business development, or related fields.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
