General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead the overall operations of a hospitality business with locations in Abuja and Calabar. Reporting to senior leadership, you will set strategic direction, ensure profitability, and uphold high service standards across all functional areas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all departments, including Operations, Kitchen, Bar, Marketing, Finance, Security, and Facilities.
• Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth, revenue, and profitability.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate department heads and staff performance.
• Monitor financial results, manage budgets, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Maintain consistent delivery of high‑quality customer experiences and service standards.
• Establish, enforce, and continuously improve company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion, innovation, and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, health, safety, and internal policies.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers, vendors, and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of management experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant, or lifestyle businesses is highly preferred.
