General Manager – Hospitality (Lagos)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a premier hospitality establishment in Lagos, Nigeria. The role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across restaurant, café and bar outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of restaurant, café and bar, develop and enforce SOPs, and ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Recruit, train and lead high‑performing teams, set performance goals and foster a service‑driven culture.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and P&L statements, achieve revenue targets while controlling costs, and oversee procurement and stock control.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with brand standards, monitor feedback and collaborate with marketing on promotions and events.
• Develop and implement growth strategies, introduce innovative service concepts and identify opportunities such as private events and catering.

Required profile

• 5–10 years senior management experience in hospitality, with proven success managing multi‑outlet operations.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality standards, compliance, financial controls and budgeting.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using reporting tools for financial and operational analysis.
