Front Desk Officer

About the role

We are seeking a professional, courteous and customer‑focused Front Desk Officer to join our team. The role serves as the first point of contact for guests, delivering excellent service while managing check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, enquiries, payments and guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to guests professionally and courteously.
• Manage guest check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Handle reservations, enquiries, telephone calls and guest requests.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
• Handle guest complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and other departments.
• Maintain accurate guest records and front desk reports.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organised and welcoming.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with hotel policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, Customer Service or a related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality or customer service role is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Good computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
