Freelance Proposal Assistant

About the role

DC Hive is a digital community and business support organisation that helps projects and businesses grow through online engagement, outreach and digital opportunities. It is looking for detail-oriented, reliable people to join as Freelance Proposal Assistants. The work is fully remote, entry-level and part-time, with previous experience not required; training and task guidelines are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Identify relevant freelance opportunities using designated platforms and resources.
• Prepare and submit proposals or bids according to company guidelines.
• Review task requirements carefully so submissions are accurate and complete.
• Maintain records of completed assignments and report task progress when required.
• Follow procedures and meet agreed submission deadlines.
• Communicate with the team about task updates, questions and potential issues.

Required profile

• Access to a laptop, desktop or compatible Android device, depending on platform needs.
• A stable internet connection.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliability, consistency and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and finish tasks within agreed timelines.

Required skills

• Basic online research and digital communication skills.
• Previous experience is not required.
