Forklift Training Instructor

About the role

Eagle Heights Workplace Training & Consulting Ltd is looking for a competent Forklift Training Instructor to join its professional training team in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. You will be responsible for delivering both classroom theory and hands‑on practical sessions, ensuring trainees acquire the knowledge and skills needed for safe forklift operation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom‑based forklift theory and safety training.
• Conduct practical forklift demonstrations and hands‑on training.
• Assess trainees' knowledge, skills, and practical competence.
• Teach safe load handling, lifting, stacking, maneuvering, and equipment inspection.
• Explain workplace hazards and safe operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate training and assessment records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in forklift operation and training.
• Strong knowledge of forklift safety and operational procedures.
• Relevant forklift/operator qualifications or certifications.
• HSE or industrial safety certification is an advantage.
• Good communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess and develop learners with varying experience levels.
