Fleet Supervisor – Oversee Daily Fleet Operations

About the role

The Fleet Supervisor will provide supervisory oversight of daily fleet operations, managing drivers, coordinating truck dispatch and recovery, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role works closely with the workshop team to maintain optimal fleet availability and utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of assigned trucks and drivers to ensure efficient fleet utilization.
• Conduct inventory checks on trucks and coordinate dispatch of operational vehicles.
• Facilitate movement of non‑operational trucks to the workshop for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate truck handovers and maintain accurate records of vehicle accessories and assets.
• Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure timely vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Report and document accidents, breakdowns, and other road incidents promptly.
• Coordinate truck recovery activities following accidents or breakdowns.
• Monitor driver performance and enforce disciplinary and compliance measures where necessary.

• Solid understanding of fleet operations, truck dispatch, and transportation logistics.
