Fixed Asset & General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Our client, a leading FMCG company, is looking for a Fixed Asset & General Ledger Accountant to manage fixed‑asset accounting, general ledger activities and accounts payable processes. The role ensures accurate financial reporting and data integrity within the SAP system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers and depreciation in line with IFRS and company policies.
• Maintain the general ledger by processing journal entries, monthly accruals and account adjustments.
• Perform periodic reconciliations of general‑ledger, supplier and GR/IR accounts and support year‑end balances.
• Process vendor invoices (MIRO), monitor invoice aging and prepare payment schedules for local vendors.
• Prepare bank transfer files, payment advice and handle vendor and staff reimbursement payments.
• Support monthly and year‑end financial closing activities, ensuring SAP closing and reporting meet the Group timetable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG, manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP modules for General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
