Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a commercially minded and detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to strengthen our finance function. You will play a key role in improving financial operations, supporting strategic decisions and building a scalable finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll, statutory deductions and approved payments on time.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations and statutory remittances.
• Strengthen financial controls, reporting processes and internal governance.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to drive sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in financial accounting or financial management.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or Zoho Books.
