Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will support the EpiC project’s financial operations in Abuja, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role provides strategic financial management, analysis, and reporting for the project’s health‑sector initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the collection, review, processing and upload of all financial transactions using DPA, GFAS or Microsoft Navision.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to approved payment and documentation procedures.
• Assist the Finance Manager with post‑transaction reviews and audit support.
• Monitor budgets, prepare financial analyses and reports for donors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee donor compliance and provide technical assistance to partner institutions and health facilities.
• Support capacity‑building activities on financial management for LOX projects across supported states.

Required profile

• Under supervision of the Finance Manager, responsible for accounting functions in the country office.
• Experience with donor‑funded projects and familiarity with financial regulations.
• Ability to ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements of EpiC projects.
