Finance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join Liveet’s Lagos office. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance and provide data‑driven insights to support strategic decisions. You will collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and prepare financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, processing vendor, operational and salary payments.
• Handle tax filings and statutory remittances, including PAYE, WHT, VAT and pensions.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow and expenses.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and work with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and assist with payroll processing and expense management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial administration, bookkeeping and reporting.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and statutory obligations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
