Finance Manager – Full-Time

About the role

The Finance Manager will support the Centre Director by providing leadership and strategic guidance to ensure the organisation’s financial stability. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a seasoned professional who can align financial plans with the overall corporate strategy and drive sound financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Director in leading designated departments to maintain financial stability.
• Align company financial plans with the broader finance strategy.
• Oversee external and internal reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide insightful commentary to stakeholders to inform decision‑making.
• Implement responsible accounting practices, including budgeting and internal controls.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Manage cash flow through historical reporting and robust forecasting.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts monthly and maintain audit‑ready controls.
• Maintain effective revenue‑cycle processes and identify cash‑flow improvement opportunities.
• Produce quarterly reports for the Group head office and annual financial statements for consolidation.
• Implement treasury, governance, and compliance practices.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA, ACA) with relevant university degree.
• MBA and/or professional risk‑management qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years post‑NYSC experience, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Experience in private‑public partnership projects is advantageous.
