Finance Analyst (Billing & Reconciliation)

About the role

The Finance Analyst will support DP World’s financial health by handling billing, reconciliation and detailed data analysis related to freight, fuel and operational metrics. This position works closely with fleet controllers, clients and internal finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and profitability insights.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in financial planning, reconciliation and analysis processes, including variance and trend analysis.
• Prepare routine financial reports, presentations and client‑facing documentation.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of revenue, fuel, breakages and mileage data, communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Monitor and validate data entries to maintain data integrity across daily financial and operational transactions.
• Gather and analyse shipment profitability reports, providing data‑driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with fleet controllers and clients to reconcile daily mileage, fuel consumption and breakage information.
• Support day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring timely collection and distribution of relevant documentation.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Strong foundational knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards and economic trends.
• Relevant certification such as ICAN or an equivalent professional qualification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling software.
• Data analysis tools for handling large operational datasets.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• ICAN (or equivalent) certification.
