Field Service Engineer – Gas Turbine Controls

About the role

The Field Service Engineer – Gas Turbine Controls will act as the site leader for technical and administrative representation, providing on‑site service for aero‑derivative gas turbines in both onshore and offshore locations. The role involves preventive and scheduled maintenance, call‑out services, and commissioning of new units.

Key responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventive and scheduled maintenance on gas turbine control systems.
• Execute service work, call‑out interventions, and new unit installation commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies, work‑permit systems, and toolbox meetings.
• Provide daily progress reports and maintain accurate equipment histories.
• Coordinate parts requisition, manage material availability, and forecast equipment utilization.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and customer representatives, suggesting safety improvements when needed.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of maintenance methods for gas turbine packages and associated equipment.
• Ability to recognize abnormal sounds, vibrations, and potential safety hazards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to safety, documentation, and timely reporting.
