Field Sales Representative (Lagos)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Sales Representative to cover an assigned commercial area in Lagos. You will meet business owners face‑to‑face, showcase Data Foundry’s business‑management software and drive new customer acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage suitable businesses within the assigned Lagos sales area, approaching owners and managers directly.
• Demonstrate the software, explain its value in simple terms and handle questions or objections professionally.
• Maintain consistent follow‑up with prospects until opportunities are won and support new customers during the early adoption phase.
• Record all interactions, demonstrations, objections and outcomes accurately.
• Achieve weekly activity, conversion and paying‑customer targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of field‑sales, merchant‑acquisition or B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to prospect, present, handle objections and close sales.
• Strong verbal communication, persuasion and follow‑up discipline.
• Resilience to maintain activity despite rejection and ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge of at least one commercial area in Lagos and experience selling to SMEs.
