Farm Manager – Hatchery

About the role

The Farm Manager – Hatchery leads both daily and strategic operations of modern poultry farms, overseeing layer and broiler breeder units. The role combines hands‑on leadership with technical oversight to ensure high productivity, animal welfare, and compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all farm activities to meet production, quality, and budget targets.
• Manage automated feeding, ventilation, housing, and egg‑collection systems to improve efficiency and animal welfare.
• Implement biosecurity protocols, health monitoring, vaccination programmes, and parental stock management.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators such as mortality, growth rates, egg production and hatchability.
• Maintain sanitation, preventive medication, and labour hygiene procedures.
• Train and develop farm personnel, fostering a safe and disciplined work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in modern poultry farm management.
• Strong understanding of biosecurity, flock health and nutrition best practices.
• Ability to lead teams, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality and sustainability goals.
