Facility Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of our residential and hospitality assets in Abuja. The role involves ensuring all areas, including grounds, pool, and plant facilities, are inspected and kept in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect residences, grounds, pool and plant areas on a daily basis.
• Supervise handymen, gardeners, cleaners and the housekeeper, managing attendance, shift schedules and relief cover.
• Log, assign and close maintenance requests in the MaintainX helpdesk with photo evidence.
• Run the planned maintenance calendar and coordinate specialist contractors.
• Prepare monthly client reports and attend review meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in a related field.
• At least 5 years of facility or estate management experience.
• Proven team leadership and supervision abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and water systems.
• Experience with pump, pool and air‑conditioning (AC) maintenance.
• Planned maintenance scheduling and contractor management.
• Report writing and use of CMMS/helpdesk tools such as MaintainX.
