Experienced Process Safety and Risk Advisor

About the role

This role provides Personnel Safety and Risk advisory support to operating assets and new development projects, helping to build a professional foundation, accelerate skill development, and deliver business results.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and advise on corporate safety and risk standards and applicable regulations for operations and projects.
• Participate in HAZOPs, PHAs, scenario‑based risk assessments and risk screenings.
• Identify non‑conformances, recommend corrective actions and monitor compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes and share lessons learned.
• Provide office‑based and field support for assets, including contractor safety management and emergency preparedness.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (higher degree in Risk/Safety Engineering advantageous).
• Minimum five years of relevant oil and gas experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English for technical and business communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of process‑safety codes and standards such as API 14C, API 14J, API 794 and NFPA.
• Experience with consequence‑assessment modelling tools, e.g., PHAST.
• Understanding of personnel safety management systems and contractor safety management.
