Entry-Level Field Officer – Sokoto State, Nigeria

About the role

We are looking for motivated entry‑level Field Officers to join New Incentives’ vaccination incentive program in Sokoto State, Nigeria. The role involves working directly with public health clinics to enroll mothers and infants into a cash‑transfer scheme that encourages completion of the national immunisation schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Enroll eligible beneficiaries at designated public clinics following strict eligibility criteria.
• Monitor immunisation services, verify that vaccinations are recorded and report any stock‑outs or service gaps.
• Provide health talks to caregivers, explaining the importance of immunisation and the cash‑transfer process.
• Maintain accurate records of enrolments, cash disbursements and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to prevent fraud and ensure programme integrity.
• Assist with rapid assessments and other programme‑related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Residency in one of the listed towns within Sokoto State.
• Strong commitment to improving child health outcomes.
• Ability to work independently in remote clinic settings.
• Good communication skills in local languages and English.
