About the role

Lextorah Limited is hiring a full-time English Language Teacher based in Lagos, Marina. The teacher delivers English lessons to students at different proficiency levels and keeps their progress documented.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English language lessons to students across different proficiency levels.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments.
• Conduct placement tests and student assessments.
• Monitor and document student progress.
• Submit lesson records and progress reports within the stipulated timelines.
• Provide constructive feedback to students.
• Use digital teaching tools and online learning platforms effectively.
• Maintain Lextorah's academic and teaching standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant English teaching experience.
• Experience teaching students at different proficiency levels.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Professional, reliable and committed to student success.

Required skills

• Ability to use Zoom and other digital learning tools.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience with IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, CELPIP, GMAT, GRE, SAT or similar exams is an added advantage.
