English Language Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an English Language Specialist to transcribe and edit audio content on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting a global technology and information leader. You will deliver accurate, well‑formatted transcriptions that meet client guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe audio files into accurate written English text with proper formatting.
• Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
• Follow client‑specific transcription guidelines and standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Meet assigned deadlines for transcription deliverables.

Required profile

• Fluent in English with strong listening comprehension.
• Prior experience in transcription, editing, or proofreading.
• Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
