Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager will provide strategic and technical leadership for engineering activities across multiple oil and gas projects. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures safe, efficient, on‑budget delivery while coordinating with clients, contractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical guidance and career development.
• Oversee planning, execution and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring quality, budget and schedule objectives are met.
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations and technical documentation; lead HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and other safety studies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and QA/QC processes; monitor progress and manage risks.
• Coordinate engineering activities with contractors, vendors and clients; support the Project Manager in resolving technical challenges.
• Contribute to business development by supporting proposals, bid evaluations and cost estimates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 10 years in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience in FEED, EPC and EPCM project delivery.
