Engineering Intern

About the role

The Engineering Intern will support ZICS' engineering and production teams in design, fabrication, and smart product development. This hands‑on position is ideal for a technically curious graduate eager to see engineering concepts applied in a real manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineers with daily production and technical activities.
• Support design and fabrication of doors, gates, and custom furniture.
• Prepare CAD drawings and basic technical documentation.
• Help operate CNC machines, laser cutters, and related fabrication workflows.
• Participate in prototype development and product improvement initiatives, including integration of smart/IoT components.

Required profile

• HND/BSc graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Basic technical understanding or interest in manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
