Electrician – Maintenance & Automation (B2C)

About the role

The role ensures that all electrical and automation equipment is maintained to achieve the manufacturer’s expected lifespan and to minimise downtime caused by electrical issues. The electrician will work on a manufacturing plant producing edible oil products, performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test electrical and automation control panels according to the maintenance schedule.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and complete the associated checklists.
• Clean electrical panels, instruments, and related equipment.
• Measure and verify electrical parameters (current, voltage) under load and no‑load conditions.
• Service electrical heating panels across all units.
• Respond to electrical and automation faults, log activities, and report issues to the Electrical & Automation Supervisor.
• Carry out installations and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery to prevent power failures.
