Electrical Supervisor – Offshore FPSO (Nigeria)

About the role

SPIE Oil & Gas Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead maintenance operations on an offshore FPSO in Nigeria. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient electrical maintenance while supporting the company’s growth in Sub‑Saharan Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute on‑site electrical maintenance activities, managing interventions through the CMMS.
• Monitor utilities and equipment performance, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and operating procedures.
• Provide technical support to planning teams and mentor multi‑national crew members.
• Identify recurring issues, analyse root causes and propose improvements to preventive maintenance programmes.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma, Certificate or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of offshore electrical maintenance experience on oil & gas installations.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate multi‑national teams.

Required skills

• CMMS/SAP experience.
• HV & LV power distribution and control networks.
• HV & LV motor drives, alternators, inverters, variable speed units.
• HV cells, light networks, switchgear and generators.
