Education Officer – Digital Learning Programs

About the role

Education Officers will lead the rollout of EIDU’s digital learning programs in Nigeria, working closely with public and private schools and government education officials at local, state and federal levels. The role supports EIDU’s mission to improve literacy and numeracy outcomes for millions of learners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive implementation of the EIDU program pilot, including facilitating teacher training, onboarding and ongoing support.
• Provide training to schools and government education officers on the EIDU Field App and dashboards for planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Promote adoption of digital teaching tools for lesson planning and student engagement.
• Act as primary liaison between EIDU and state‑level education activities, representing the organization at events and meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with state education officers to coordinate teacher‑training programmes.
• Compile and present progress reports to government officials and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience working with education systems, schools or government education agencies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to travel to schools and government offices across Nigeria.
• Commitment to improving learning outcomes through data‑driven interventions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital platforms and mobile applications for education.
• Ability to use data dashboards for reporting and decision‑making.
