Ecommerce Manager – Nigeria Digital Commerce

About the role

The role is responsible for owning end‑to‑end performance of Nigeria’s eCommerce business across multiple brands and markets, driving revenue growth, conversion improvement and catalogue excellence while expanding the digital footprint to new cities.

Key responsibilities

• Own performance of all Nigeria eCommerce sites, maintaining catalogue quality, search, merchandising and campaign execution, and monitoring KPIs to act on opportunities.
• Lead new market entry and launch activities, managing localisation, payment, logistics and fulfilment, and reporting milestones to senior leadership.
• Serve as primary eCommerce liaison for Operations, Marketing, Commercial and Customer Service, integrating promotional calendars and supporting fulfilment SLAs.
• Produce regular performance reports, provide insights and recommendations, and represent eCommerce metrics in cross‑functional forums.
• Identify and capitalise on incremental revenue opportunities, supporting pricing, promotions and margin strategy.
• Lead, coach and develop the eCommerce team, ensuring clear KPAs, scorecards and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• 5+ years of eCommerce management experience, preferably in retail or multi‑brand environments, with a proven track record of growing online revenue across multiple markets.
• Demonstrated experience in cross‑functional stakeholder management and leading teams.
