About the role
The National Electronic Labour Exchange is seeking a reliable driver to support its supply‑chain operations in Lagos. The role involves transporting officials and handling vehicle upkeep while providing a professional service to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Pick up officials at each location as instructed by superior.
- Adjust routes to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions.
- Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest.
- Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders.
- Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage.
- Monitor traffic and weather reports to stay up‑to‑date on road conditions.
- Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues.
- Maintain cleaning of both interior and exterior of the vehicle and ensure adequate maintenance.
Required profile
- Valid driver’s licence with 1‑5 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
- SSCE qualification (advantageous) and minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (corrected if needed).
- Polite, professional disposition and ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations.
- Familiarity with Lagos roads, neighborhoods and GPS devices.
- Availability to work occasional weekend and night shifts.
- No consumption of alcohol, tobacco or hard drugs while on duty.
