About the role
Lagooz Schools is seeking a reliable driver to transport students safely between designated stops in Lagos. The role involves adhering to schedules, ensuring vehicle safety, and supporting student wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Pick up and drop off students at assigned stops according to the route and schedule.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip bus inspections, report mechanical issues, and keep the bus clean.
- Assist students, including those with disabilities, when boarding and alighting.
- Monitor student behavior, intervene in disciplinary matters, and report safety concerns.
- Maintain records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
- Communicate with school officials, parents, and staff regarding routes and student issues.
- Attend safety meetings, training sessions, and adjust routes for weather or traffic delays.
- Provide basic first aid when needed and transport students to extracurricular events.
Required profile
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- Must be attentive and resident within Agege, Ifako‑Ijaiye, Alimosho, or Ikeja local government areas.
