Dispatch Rider (Full‑time)

About the role

The Dispatch Rider ensures timely and secure delivery of enrollee ID cards, medical documents, medications and other essential items for an HMO operating in Lagos. The role supports operational efficiency by handling sensitive materials with professionalism and strict adherence to safety and data‑protection guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch enrollee ID cards, referral letters, authorisations and health‑related documents to providers and clients.
• Deliver prescribed medications to enrollees or partner facilities as directed.
• Collect completed forms, claims and other documents from healthcare providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data‑protection regulations for all materials.
• Conduct daily motorcycle inspections, report issues and ensure routine servicing.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, submit daily trip reports and notify supervisors of any delays or incidents.
• Plan routes efficiently, communicate delivery status and confirm handovers with recipients.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/OND education.
• 2–4 years experience as a dispatch rider, preferably in HMO, healthcare or logistics.
• Strong personal discipline, safe riding record and reliable professional demeanor.
• Good knowledge of Lagos routes and surrounding areas.
• Ability to manage time independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
