About the role
Oscar Diagnostics is looking for a qualified Diagnostic Sonographer to join its imaging team in Rivers State. You will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, ensuring high‑quality images that support accurate clinical decisions and patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, pelvic, thyroid, breast and other ultrasound examinations as required.
- Maintain patient comfort, safety and confidentiality throughout each procedure.
- Generate accurate reports and keep thorough documentation of all scans.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, following quality and infection‑control standards.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Medical Imaging, Sonography, Radiography or a related field.
- Professional registration or licensure recognized in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 1–3 years experience in diagnostic ultrasound (preferred).
- Strong communication and patient‑care abilities.
