DevOps Manager (On-site, Abuja)

About the role

The DevOps Manager will lead and coordinate DevOps activities across software and infrastructure teams at Seven Up Bottling Company’s Abuja site. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable integration, automated testing and smooth deployment of applications and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and environments.
• Manage infrastructure provisioning, configuration and monitoring, establishing best practices for security, scalability and resilience.
• Collaborate with software development teams to guide test automation, integration processes and resolve deployment issues.
• Mentor and develop DevOps engineers to improve delivery speed and system stability.
• Continuously improve tools, workflows and documentation to support efficient and compliant operations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in software development and integration, working closely with engineering teams on build, release and deployment processes.
• Hands‑on expertise in continuous integration practices and tools, configuring and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in test automation, designing and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
• Solid background in infrastructure management, including server provisioning, cloud or on‑premise environments, configuration management, monitoring and incident response.
• Proven leadership experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, managing teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
