Design Architect – On‑Site/Hybrid (Full‑Time/Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Design Architect to lead and support architectural design development from concept through detailed design and project execution. The role operates on‑site and hybrid, reporting to the Lead Architect or Senior Design Lead, and is offered on a fixed‑term, call‑out basis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts and design solutions that translate client briefs into functional, creative and buildable outcomes.
• Produce detailed construction and working drawings, specifications and BIM models, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations and project budgets.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior design and other consultants, participating in client meetings, presentations and design reviews.
• Support site coordination, resolve design‑related issues during execution and maintain design intent with contractors and project teams.
• Research materials, finishes, products and construction methods, integrating sustainable and cost‑effective solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with 4–10 years of relevant design experience, preferably in office, commercial or mixed‑use projects.
• Proven ability to develop concepts through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Strong design judgement, attention to detail and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple project deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong BIM workflow knowledge and 3D modelling/visualisation capabilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction details.
