Deposit Mobilization Officer

About the role

The Deposit Mobilization Officer will drive the acquisition of new customers and grow the bank’s deposit portfolio. You will promote deposit products, build relationships across individual, SME, corporate and institutional segments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers to meet assigned deposit mobilization targets.
• Market and promote the bank’s deposit products and services.
• Develop and implement effective deposit mobilization strategies.
• Cross‑sell additional bank products to existing and prospective clients.
• Monitor customer accounts and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Prepare periodic sales and business development reports.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies, KYC, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• HND in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in deposit mobilization, sales or business development within financial services.
• Proven track record of meeting deposit mobilization targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and achieve set targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
