Cybersecurity Specialist / Ethical Hacker

About the role

MogRex Limited is seeking a highly proficient Cybersecurity Specialist / Ethical Hacker to protect its fintech, banking applications and overall IT infrastructure. The role involves identifying, assessing and mitigating security risks across web, mobile, API, network and database systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and ethical hacking on web, mobile, API, network and database environments.
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in a controlled setting and provide clear remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps and infrastructure teams to embed secure‑by‑design practices.
• Perform security audits, threat modelling, risk assessments and monitor security incidents.
• Develop security policies, procedures, technical documentation and standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, technically strong professional with practical experience beyond theory or compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and communicate cybersecurity concepts to students and non‑technical staff.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, Security+, eJPT, PNPT, CISSP or CISM are an advantage.

• Tools: Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, Kali Linux.
• Incident analysis, log analysis and security monitoring.
• Secure software development and code/security reviews.
