Cyber Security Analyst T1

About the role

An entry‑level Security Operations Center (SOC) professional responsible for monitoring security alerts, identifying potential threats, analyzing incidents, and escalating serious issues to the appropriate teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security tools, investigate alerts, triage incidents and follow response procedures while meeting SLA requirements.
• Track emerging cyber threats through threat intelligence feeds and open‑source platforms.
• Prepare security reports, document incidents and provide clear shift handovers.
• Attend training and contribute to continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT or a related area.
• CompTIA Security+ and CEH certifications are a plus.
• Good written and spoken English with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.

Required skills

• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
• Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus and EDR solutions.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic scripting in Python or PowerShell.
