Customer Success Manager – New Markets (Madagascar & Mozambique)

About the role

Okra Solar is scaling its Mesh‑Grid pilots in Madagascar and Mozambique and needs a Customer Success Manager to ensure the projects move from signed deals to fully deployed, high‑performing operations. Based in Nigeria, you will work remotely while travelling frequently to partner sites, enabling local energy companies to run successful off‑grid projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive project deployment for two developer partners, keeping timelines on track and removing blockers.
• Onboard partners to the Okra Harvest software platform and ensure confident usage.
• Monitor and act on core KPIs (ARPU, uptime, opex, delinquency, portfolio performance).
• Run regular business reviews, coach partners on metric‑driven actions, and act as the first point of contact for issue triage.
• Feed field learnings back into Okra’s playbooks, product roadmap, and processes.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience, preferably in the energy sector or rural electrification.
• Fluent in English and French; Portuguese is a plus.
• Experience working with African markets and comfortable managing project outcomes and KPIs.
• Willingness to travel to Madagascar and Mozambique as needed.

Required skills

• Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive).
• Airtable, Confluence or Notion.
• Slack and AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for research and documentation.
• Comfort with data analysis in spreadsheets and using the Okra Harvest monitoring platform.
